Elvis slept here. Back in the 60s Elvis Presley stayed here on four different occasions. He was traveling from Memphis to Las Vegas or Los Angeles and Clinton was a good overnight stopping place. Elvis manager always handled the booking and asked for the same rooms. Guests can still experience the Inn as Elvis did. The restaurant still serves steaks and catfish, German sausage and apple pie. This is one of the finer hotels located along Route 66.
